Timescales
We can usually complete a garden consultation within a couple of weeks of your first contact. For small gardens, the report and plant lists take another two weeks to produce. Planting plans take a little longer, because the work is detailed, but if the survey is done at the same time as the consultation, we aim to finish those within another two weeks.
Completing full garden designs takes longer as the Planning and Designing stages have more time consuming elements to them.
Full design and build projects are best timed so that the planting can be done in Autumn or Spring (or sometimes it can be split between Autumn and Spring to coincide with plants being available).
The start of a full build project will depend on what other work we have going on at that time and the size of your project.
Garden Consultation
For a garden consultation, with advice report, plant lists and moodboard the charge is £200.00 to £300.00 dependent on the size of your garden.
Planting Plans
Planting plans can be added to the garden consultation.
We complete a survey and the plans show Latin and common names of the plants, the size and number of plants you require and where to plant them.
You will also have access to Shoot Gardening online design package.
The charge for this offer is £200.00 per border.
Design only
This depends on the size of your garden.
After the garden consultation we complete a survey of your whole garden, or the part which you would like us to work on.
You receive two concept designs, a final design, a setting out plan with the measurements and a planting plan.
You will also have access to Shoot Gardening online design package.
The charge for this is £1,200.00 to £2,000.00 depending on the size of your garden.
Full Design & Installation
A quote for the design work and any landscaping we provide (eg small paths, timber structures, setting out the plan) will be given after the initial consultation and an estimate given for the plants.
The cost for hard landscaping work will be by arrangement between you and the landscapers.
You will also have access to Shoot Gardening online design package for the duration of the project.
As a guide, the charge from us starts at £5,000.00 for a small garden.
